If you are looking for FRESH baked goods, this is the place for you. Every item, from breakfast rolls (cinnamon, orange, lemon and cherry) to breads, cupcakes, scones, and muffins, are baked fresh from scratch each day.

Any baked item left at the end of the day goes to Hospice or another non-profit destination.

Any cupcake variety can be converted into a number of cake styles. Special orders are accepted and encouraged. They make certain that you get what you want, when you need it.

Supplementing the baked goods are a variety of homemade soups, artisanal pizzas from our exceptional breakfast pizza to the lamb and goat cheese pizza on a lemon-rosemary crust.

Our coffee is a special Clock Tower Blend prepared for us by The Roasterie. Our teas are from Two Leaves and a Bud and are especially good. Complimenting these warm beverages you will find a number of cold drinks available to round out your lunch or snack.

Started by two librarians
(one with decades of baking experience),

Special orders should be registered by email (clocktowerbakery@kc.rr.com) or phone (913-948-9559) two days ahead of when you need the products.

While every order is special to us, whenever you are going to need a dozen or more of any item in the case, use the Special Order service. Every cake order is a special order, so try to plan ahead. If you need a special size of one of our case products - mini-cinnamon rolls or mini or midi-cupcakes, you should make a special order since we do not keep these on our daily menu.

Certain items in addition to cakes are always special order items. These include all Kringles, even during the holiday season, full size coffee cakes, dinner rolls for special occasions and any order requiring delivery.
