February 2016 May 2016 News & Reviews The Delectable French Macaron: A Patrons Review

May 14, 2015  |  By Clock Tower Bakery  |  Pastries

Recently, we had a patron ask us if we make our macarons on the premises. When we told her we absolutely make every one of them at Clock Tower Bakery, she ordered two dozen right away. She mentioned that she wasn’t aware of any other bakeries in the area that made macarons in house so she wanted them fresh from us.

We’ve done a little research, and are continuing to do more, but we are finding that there are very few around that make macarons. Why? They are a very special French cookie – it takes special technique and time, to make them come out perfectly.

If you haven’t tried any of our little, round gluten-free, delicious confections called Colors Macarons, stop in and give one a go – we have lots of flavors to choose from like Strawberry Lemonade, the flavor of the month for May. They are great for gifts, too; we can box them up for you to give to loved ones and friends.

Here’s what one of our patrons thinks about them:

“I’ve tried some other local places and I must confess yours are the best!!!!” Mindy Frederick
